  • “Perfect base for our Paris trip”

My parents and I stayed with Laurent in February and had the best time; this truly is a one-of-a-kind experience in the heart of Paris. The flat is beautiful and wonderfully decorated – it feels so very Parisian and is located in the 9th district – next to so many restaurants and within walking distance to many landmarks. The metro is just one block away and can take you anywhere quickly and conveniently. We tried many of Laurent’s locals-only recommendations for dinner and they all were perfect and off-the-beaten-path.
My room was very quiet and in the back. My parents’ room was also very quiet but had a street view. The windows kept any noise at bay. Both rooms were luxuriously appointed with terrific lighting, ensuite baths and nespresso machines and an electric kettle for in-room coffee or tea.
Best of all, Laurent made my parents feel at home and at ease and very special. We were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on this trip and he provided a lovely champagne toast one evening before we left for the Opera.
I can’t think of a better place to stay in Paris and recommend Les 3 Chambres to anyone who wants to experience a non-touristy side of Paris with quick access to everything and a delightful host who will make you feel right at home.
    Thank you, Laurent!

  • “A lovely place to stay!”
Les3chambres was exactly what I was hoping for when I booked our reservation. Laurent is a perfect host–friendly, helpful, and has such attention to detail that was very much appreciated by us. He created a map for his guests with useful information about the area, including two charming walks and several restaurant/dessert recommendations. I especially enjoyed the walk to the Louvre using the covered passageways. All of the restaurant suggestions were spot-on: we thoroughly enjoyed each meal. Laurent will make dinner reservations, print out boarding passes, help with shuttle reservations to the airport, and more. He is truly a gem.
Our room, la1chambre, is beautiful. Facing the courtyard, it is in a quiet location. The bed and pillows are so comfortable, it was difficult getting out of it for breakfast in the morning! The bathroom is very stylish and the amenities are high quality. Even the hair dryer is powerful (most aren’t)! Everything is clean.
Laurent presented us with delicious, plentiful breakfasts each morning: fresh breads, fruit salad, croissants, granola, yogurt, and a homemade treat. The tea and coffee were delicious as well.
Les3chambres is located close to the Metro station, which was appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. It’s easy to travel all over Paris from this location.
If you are looking for a charming, cozy, fabulous place to stay in Paris, this is it! Thank you, Laurent! We hope to return again one day.

  • « Our best Parisienne experience »

Our most recent trip to Paris was without doubt the most enjoyable of our six visits there largely thanks to the wonderful hospitality and support provided by Laurent at Les3chambres.
The centrally located apartment includes three beautifully decorated and very well maintained guest rooms. We stayed in La2chambre, which was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean.
Each day started with a sumptuous traditional French breakfast which included freshly squeezed juice, seasonal fruit , pastries, cereal and Laurent’s home made confiture and cakes/tarts. Extremely delicious and generous !
Our visit was made all that much more enjoyable and fulfilling thanks to the assistance and/or insight provided by Laurent on everything French/ Parisienne. The informed recommendations he provided on dining, shopping or cultural activities always hit the mark. He is the consummate host and is at all times committed to providing a superior level of service.
Thank you Laurent and Bernard for welcoming us into your home and for providing such a warm experience.

  • “Great Charming Guest House – Top situation and VIP services”
It was a wonderful discovery. Laurent manages this place like a Pro. Services, Pretty Decoration, practicals advices.
and if you are lucky, you will meet Bernard also… Two great people… .
Believe us, it is the best « Bed » of Paris. The quality made that we never sleep like this before. We try to leave with the Bed but the size made the project not possible.
After a full day of discovery, the place is the island you need for taking your energy back. The decoration of the apartment will export you in differents areas. Day by day we discovery some decoratives details who inspires us.
The situation of the apartment is perfect: A lot of Great food solution – Near all the place.
The solution is perfect. We will be back soon. The « 3chambres » become our private and secret place.
    Bravo Laurent, Stay like this.

  • “Elegant and luxe B&B ”

Good location, quality boutique accommodation and local knowledge were the three key things we looked for in our Paris accommodation. Les 3 Chambres ticked all those boxes and more. Laurent is a very thoughtful and professional host and we felt welcomed the moment we stepped inside the apartment.

We stayed for 7 nights on our honeymoon and found the apartment to be private, quiet, exceptionally clean and really comfortable. Our room (la 2 chambre) was the largest room and it was bigger than we expected. Breakfast each morning in the sunny guest lounge was a delight and set us up well for a day of sightseeing. Laurent’s personal map is very useful with excellent recommendations for walks, cafes and restaurants.

We wanted to explore Paris through the eyes of a local and Laurent provided helpful tips and advice to ensure we were able to do so and maximise our visit. We walked almost everywhere from the apartment, including Montmartre, Opera, Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Museè d’Orsay, Museè de l’Orangerie, Le Marais, Trocadero and even all the way to the Eiffel Tower.

The apartment is luxe and stylish with a rich history. We absolutely loved staying here, especially with Laurent’s outstanding hospitality, and it was a pleasure returning to the warm and inviting apartment each day. We can’t wait to return to Les 3 Chambres!

  • “Delightful stay in comfortable apartment with charming host – highly recommended”

My daughter and I visited Paris for a weekend in June, unfortunately coinciding with Brexit and Euro2016. However neither could spoil a wonderful weekend in this delightful B&B. We arrived to tea and homemade madeleines and were shown our (small) but beautifully decorated and appointed, and immaculately clean, double room overlooking a typical Parisian street. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including extras such as special maps and guide books to borrow. The whole apartment was fantastically decorated and accessorized – I could have spent a whole morning admiring everything.
Le petit dejeuner both mornings was amazing – homemade patisserie, jam and granola plus fresh fruit salads and freshly squeezed juice – everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
Our host, Laurent, was endlessly helpful and insightful, from recommending restaurants to tolerating our poor French. And do explore the ‘passages’ between Les3chambres and the Louvre – this was, for me, an unknown part of Paris.
Finally it was very well located – I was a bit unsure of the area, but we were literally 12 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord and 15 minutes walk from the Louvre.
Very highly recommended – we certainly plan to visit again.

  • “A piece of paradise in Paris. Outstanding experience.”

Our family stayed at Laurent’s gracious apartment for a weekend break. This is a bed and breakfast with a difference: Laurent is passionate about decor, food, comfort and really wants his guests to embrace Paris. Even though we know the city fairly well, his recommendations for restaurants and things to do were insightful and authentic. From booking taxis for us, to baking delicious breakfast treats, to just making us feeling welcome in his elegant home – we cannot wait to visit Paris and Laurent again, who now feels more like a friend than a proprietor.

  • “Beautiful room and a wonderful host”

My boyfriend chose Les 3 Chambres as a surprise for my 40th birthday and he couldn’t have picked a more beautiful apartment in a better location. I love quirky interiors and Laurent’s style is fabulous; a gorgeous mix of old family heirlooms, flea market finds and contemporary design. Our bedroom was the largest of the three and had a beautifully comfortable bed, stunning bathroom and lovely large windows. Every detail had been thought of; a great selection of teas from a local tea shop, a coffee machine, beautiful Aesop toiletries, plenty of clothes hangers, a hairdryer and even a special gift of macarons for my birthday.
When we arrived, Laurent showed us around and gave us a map he’s had made especially for guests that highlights two lovely walking routes (one in Montmartre and one through Les Passages) both of which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. He has also included his suggestions for the best restaurants and patisserie along the way.
Breakfast at Les 3 Chambres is a relaxed affair with plenty of fresh bread and pastries, homemade confiture, fresh fruit, tea and coffee. It was a real privilege to eat at Laurent’s dining table with such personal and attentive service, and to chat to other guests while planning the day ahead.
We loved every minute of our stay in Paris and I was overwhelmed during our first evening when Laurent served us Champagne (ordered by my boyfriend – top marks!) in beautiful vintage glasses accompanied by his very own homemade tapenade on fresh bread. He really did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Thank you Laurent, we’ll definitely be back.

  • Unbelievable! Such a lovely welcome from Laurent, cosy, stylish décor, superb breakfast and luxuriously comfortable bedroom. We both felt it was far, far better than staying in a hotel. Laurent’s passion for Paris is infectious (not that we need much encouraging) and his local knowledge is invaluable. We will definitely stay again – thank you so much Laurent for making our break so very enjoyable.

  • “Magnificent”
Perfectly located between the 9th and 10th arrondissement, Les3chambres is arguably Paris’ best kept secret. This stunning Parisian apartment from the 1830s is truly unique in beauty and charm. Laurent’s magnificent sense of aesthetics brings together elements of Madeleine Castaing’s legendary interiors and Napoleon III era with his self-designed lamps and textiles. His attention to details, his warm welcome and the exceptionally homely feeling of this house made my stay here authentic and memorable. If hospitality is an art, Laurent should be its Muse. I will go back.

  • “Family Celebration”
We booked all three rooms over the weekend before Christmas to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 21s Birthday. Just a 15 minute leisurely walk from Gare du Nord, Les 3 Chambres, is a beautiful haven in the 9th. We all loved the decor, the beds and the total attention to detail our charming host showed us. We really could not fault anything. The breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, croissants, home made organic jams, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt and cereals and a light ,moist homemade apple cake. I even made a special visit to the fairtrade coffee shop in the Marais to buy my own supply of the breakfast coffee beans to take home. Our charming host, Laurent, made us feel very welcome in his home and as a treat to our daughter gave us a delicious bottle of champagne to toast her 21st Birthday.
The location was very good for walking up to Monmartre and across to the Marais and I would recommend following the excellent walking tours highlighted on the map supplied in each room. The covered walkways of Paris is a real find. The walking tour around Monmartre rewards stamina and again not to be missed.

  • “A Hidden Gem!”
I would definitely recommend staying at Les 3 Chambres if you want to feel at home in Paris. Laurent is the perfect host, after 3 nights it felt like staying with a friend. He makes great recommendations about things to do and places to eat. The apartment is beautiful, full of interesting art works and books. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts are delicious and healthy. You can walk to most of the important sites in Paris. Much better than a hotel.

  • “A picture gallery as well as a B&B!”

Laurent is a perfect host providing stylish decor, delightful ambience and comfort, in the heart of Paris; very close to the Metro, restaurants and within easy walking distance of the major Paris sights. His personal recommendations, attention to detail and maps of local interest are most helpful. Chambre 1 came equipped with a simple to use coffee machine making excellent fresh coffee also a supply of Kusmi teas. Breakfasts of fresh, organic fruit salads, freshly squeezed fruit juices and homemade cakes and jams complimented the local croissants, baguettes and bread selection which set us up for our days out. Paris in the autumn was perfect!

  • “Meravigloso !”

We recently returned from a delightful stay at Les 3 Chambres, and we highly recommend staying here during a visit to Paris. The house has been lovingly and painstakingly renovated. Not only is the house exquisite, but the innkeeper Laurent is entirely devoted to making each guest’s stay memorable. Laurent’s position as innkeeper is not just a job but a calling. He has put his heart and sould into Les 3 Chambres, and he oversees everything with flair. Laurent gives us great information about the area and local restaurants to help us maximize our time in Paris. Laurent delights in telling stories of the house and Paris as well as many tales of his experiences. He regales you with these stories as you sit at the elegant dining tables and enjoy a most entertaining breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and well presented. This was not a stay, it was an experience and one that we will Always remember and treasure.

  • “Simply Outstanding”

The three nights we stayed left us wanting more!
Laurent made us feel so welcome in his beautiful home that we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Not only is the setting lovely (it is Paris after all…), but the all aspects of the accommodation and all the little details were amazing.
A custom map that provides two special local walking experiences as well as other great info. With our short stay we did not get an opportunity to try out any of the eating recommendations, but given the rest of the experience here I’d say they would all be worth a visit if you have the time.
The home and rooms are beautifully presented and filled with an amazing mix of period and contemporary pieces and artworks. The bedrooms are wonderfully homely, comfortable and quiet an have a real quality feel.
Beautiful breakfasts of the best Paris has to offer as well as a magical changing selection of homemade treat fresh from the kitchen and made with care from seasonal produce.
Laurent is the icing on the cake for the experience. Personable, knowledgeable, an excellent cook and very focused on making sure the we not only had a lovely experience in his home but also in Paris generally. He really does provide the personal touch that you simply do not find in any other place.
If you want a truly special experience, are tired of typical hotel style accommodation then this is definitely for you. It’s addictive and we would stay here again without a moments hesitation.
Thank you for a special end to our holiday.
    Mark and Heidi

  • “A piece of heaven in Paris!”

Our second time to Les3chambres – this time we brought friends. Once again Laurent facilitated a wonderful weekend for all of us, and went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay to the fullest. The apartment is still beautiful, still looks brand new, the breakfast is amazing with great coffee, homemade jams and cakes and of course baguettes. The only negative thing to mention is that you actually have to leave…. We will be back Laurent 🙂

  • “Best B&B I’ve ever experienced”

Les 3 Chambres was the best B&B experience I’ve ever had – period. I stayed 5 nights.

The place: Great room – I stayed in the biggest one (I think Chambre 2) and it was huge (I heard hotel rooms etc. are usually small in Paris-since space is a luxury-but not this place). Laurent thought of everything from
Convenient light switches (one near the bed to turn all the lights off), to having electrical converters, etc for our use and convenience. The rugs, wall decoration, lamps, etc were all beautifully put together. Top of the line bath products, soap, fresh towels, etc. Everything looks like it was newly made with no expense spared. Closet for hanging up clothing, black out curtains, and thick Windows which don’t let a single outside sound get into the room (you’ll sleep well). Bed was incredibly comfortable.

The host: Laurent is amazing, and speaks English really well. He taught us what we needed to know and suggested days on which we should do things (he looked up the weather for us, told us what was open, found out what tickets we should buy, gave us directions to everything, etc.). one of the most helpful things is that Laurent created a « simplified » Paris map that shows all the main sightseeing spots, all the trains that go to those places, and 3 scenic walks that could be made from Les 3 Chambres. Laurent also put his recommended restaurants on this map, and his recommended places to eat were great (most places he recommended spoke English well too). A copy of this map (which is mostly what we used while in Paris) was available in the room immediately upon getting there and Laurent explained the whole thing to us. He also went above and beyond the morning we were leaving (we had to leave at 4 am) by waking up to say goodbye to us and even watched out of his window from the building to make sure that we actually got into a taxi before he went back to bed.

The Breakfast: Wow. Every morning Laurent had a fresh fruit salad that he would put together for us (amazing), French pressed coffee (I’m a coffee snob and I loved it), and all the bread and pastries you could want. Fresh made jams (using in-season fruit from local farms), organic yogurt, fresh squeezed juice, granola. The best part was that every day, there was at least one « signature » breakfast item. Laurent would bake things fresh using in-season fruit or find unique breads/items from local farms. Amazing.

  • “Tres Exquis”
You can’t really classify Les 3 Chambres as a B&B, although technically it is. It’s just so much more than that. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Gare de Nord as we were catching the Cologne train the next morning. Now we would only stay here whenever we visit Paris again.
    The rooms are exquisite.
The common sitting room is a turquoise miracle of eclectic good taste.
The home-made breakfast is beyond comparison with ordinary B&Bs.
And Laurent Rougier is the most elegant, charming and helpful host you could hope for.
So the bathrooms are relatively small but beautifully appointed and, being an apartment in Paris, there is no air-conditioning. Open the window and get over it.
We thought at first that this review might be a bit over-the-top but on re-reading it, it’s probably somewhat understated. We loved Les 3 Chambres!

  • “An Open Letter”
    Dear Laurent, Sept. 21-27/ 2915
    Thank you, thank you.
Little did we know, when we booked Les3Chambers B&B how wonderful an experience it would be. It was our first time in Paris and your beautiful apartment was a perfect place for us to land. The room we had was, very clean, spacious, beautifully appointed, and the bed was very comfortable.
We looked forward to our Parisian breakfasts every day…Fresh, local and yummy!
Thank you for your personally created and incredibly « User Friendly » map… It made all the difference in the world.
We loved the area and found it to be perfectly located in regard to getting about easily. With so many restaurants and cafes to choose from, we really appreciated your recommendations and found several favourites.
Most of all, Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful apartment and making us feel so at home.
In closing, we like to stay in B&Bs, when we travel, and Les3Chambers was the very best, in all our experience!
    Thank you for everything.

  • “C’est Magnifique”
Laurent and Bernard made us feel very at home in their chic apartment in the 9th arrondissement. The breakfast was served each day in a beautifully decorated dining room filled with art and sumptuous furnishings. We stayed during a heat wave and Laurent made sure that we had cold water and even bought a new fan for our room. The apartment is located in a great area and you can easily walk to some of the major attractions such as Montmartre, the Louvre and the Paris Opera. We highly recommend Les3Chambres.

  • “A Unique Place to Stay in Paris »
Les 3 Chambres is perfectly situated 15 minutes stroll from Gare du Nord and within easy walking distance of many of the places you will wish to visit. Laurent, your host, calls Les 3 Chambres a B&B, but we found it to be so much more than that! My wife and I had the largest of the 3 Chambres, it was beautifully decorated and SPOTLESSLY clean and provided with lovely toiletries and linen and really comfortable beds. We also appreciated the little touches, such as an electrical adapter for UK visitors and a variety of French children’s books that were great for describing Paris, for those of us with only a schoolboy command of French and surprisingly for a Republic a solar powered, hand waving model of our Queen!
Laurent’s breakfasts were of the highest quality, there was always lovely artisan baked breads, homemade jams and pastries, usually something baked by your host, such a lemon cake or clafoutis and a great choice of teas, coffee and fresh fruit juice.
However, we both felt that the best thing about Les 3 Chambres was Laurent himself. He obviously takes great pride in his estabilshment and is keen that you should enjoy your stay there. He takes a genuine interest in his guests and is always keen to know what you have planned for the day and is really helpful if you are undecided. He’s always happy to advise and recommend particular sites and areas of interest and his website, with suggested walks and eating places was invaluable.
    I cannot wait to return.

  • “Exquisite”
Stepping into Les 3 Chambres is like stepping into the home of your incredibly chic yet down-to-earth old friend’s home. Laurent has curated a beautiful experience for any traveler looking for a special and intimate setting to make their base for exploring Paris. Every room tells a story, filled with interesting art and books, as fresh flowers and succulent fruits from the day’s market fragrance the lovely salon. Laurent makes you feel like a welcomed friend in his private home, giving you personalized maps he’s designed of his favorite walking routes, customized suggestions for your stay throughout France, and of course, serving you the most decadent « fait au maison » pastries for breakfast. The location is perfect for setting off on journeys near and far (Gare du Nord and Est are quite close, as are Metro stations and main boulevards to stroll to the Marais, Louvre, Montmartre, etc). Truly a gem in the heart of Paris!

  • “Perfect »

Laurent was the perfect host and helped us get the most out of our stay. We have been to Paris a few times before but this was the most enjoyable and the breakfasts were amazing, much better than any hotel. We will definitely be staying at Les 3 Chambres again.
